The first time I met Samantha (we’ll call her Sam for the rest of the post
) I thought she was one of the prettiest girls I would work with. And, she is, and the more you get to know her, the more beautiful you think she is. Sam is really sweet and very thoughtful, and she planned this wedding with everything and everyone in mind. I always appreciate a genuinely thoughtful person, and Sam is especially so. Bobby is extraordinary too, and treats Sam and everyone else with kindness and respect. The two of them make a perfect couple, and this was such a special day for both of them, I was so happy to get to share it with them and their families.
The wedding was at Our Lady in Stonewood, and the reception was at the Pete Dye Golf Club. The colors were silver and Tiffany Blue (my favorite) and the tables looked amazing!!!

i loved the place settings, and these were done by Elite Bridal and Events for the satin linens and the chair bows, and the menus, seating chart, and custom invitations were all made by Mementos in Morgantown. Tracey at Mementos is one of my favorites and everything that i have ever seen her make is perfection! going to her shop is eye candy for me, because i have a strange obsession with paper goods and stationary…….

one of my most unique grooms party photos ever………….i think the antique guns were the perfect touch…..

Sam’s gift to her girls were Tiffany necklaces (a girl after my own heart) to go with the Tiffany Blue theme:

We had a lot of really beautiful couple shots, I don’t know how they will choose. Besides the fact that these two are both so good looking, we took these out on the course at Pete Dye, which is one of the most beautiful golf courses ever made:

for sure one of my favorites with these blue skies and this antique car!

from their first dance, don’t they look so happy together?

i love this one too, near the end of their first dance:

one of my other favorites of these two during the day:

the cake, from my very favorite baker, Bake N Memories. her cakes taste like home made cakes and not the generic bakery taste, and i love them. plus she is amazing talented, look at this:

one of my favorite candids of the day:
Bobby’s best man was his dad, who is quite the character, and when your dad is the best man, you can never be too sure if there will be any embarrasing stories or not………..Bobby’s brother is on the other side of dad, i love how he is cracking up…..

i guess there was maybe something embarassing said…….

Sam and her dad. And, I totally felt the tears coming on with this. And, then with the mother son dance. Very special moments for both of them.

and, Sam, I took this for you, because I wanted you to see the way Bobby was watching when you were dancing with your dad. I couldn’t help but notice his expression. He is so completely in love with you……..

and, one other thing Sam, they say you can see how a man will treat his wife by the way he treats his mother, so I’m pretty sure you have nothing to worry about………….

and, i had to share this one too, this is Bobby’s brother, who is getting married next year, and I am sad to not be able to photograph them to since I already had a wedding booked on their date, but i know that you guys will have an amazing day, and a happy life together, just look at them……. (i personally think that these two boys are spectacular, and if you spent time around their parents, you wouldn’t wonder how they turned out this way)

and, one more! these two (the owner/driver of the antique car) celebrated their (I can’t remember the exact number) but I think it was close to 40 years of marriage while Sam and Bobby were saying their vows. How incredible!

Sam and Bobby, thank you for letting me share this with you, and for your kindness. I hope you have many happy years together, and I hope you enjoy looking through your photos of this day as much as I enjoyed capturing them. Best of luck to you.
