Jennifer + Adam – the wedding post…… January 28th, 2010

On a snowy snowy day in December, Jennifer and Adam were married at the Erickson Alumni Center in Morgantown, WV.

A lot of brides having winter weddings hope for snow, these two got around 12 inches or so. :) I was so worried that we would get behind an accident (or be in one) on the way there, but all was well and the wedding was awesome!

Jennifer had really pretty red shoes. When we went outside for the snow photos, she changed into her UGGS so we didn’t get these pretty shoes messed up. I generally keep a pair of rubber boots in my car just in case, and if you get married in the spring, fall, or winter, they come in pretty handy to keep your wedding shoes looking nice.

This was candid which is probably why I like it so much, but I think Jennifer looks so beautiful finishing up the details of her getting ready activities.

We took this one for two reasons. One, for the back of her gown, and two, check out all that snow! I’m sure that the snow will be something they talk about every time they talk about their wedding when they share the story with the children someday.

They saw each other before the ceremony, and these are always some of my most favorite photos……

Then, during the ceremony, I got teary eyed watching Jennifer.

Married!

Some couple’s portraits of them:

This was not something I told them to do, just something they did and it was really really really sweet.

We braved the elements and took some photos outside:

Congratulations! I am so happy for you guys!!!! To see the rest of the highlights from the day, click HERE. Enjoy!!!
